Is the MP dying?

I know the game is a few years old but where is everyone?
In the last month or so, everytime I play there are only like 16 players online, and most of them don't even finish a full campaing, so in the end you get stuck with bots..

Maybe I just log in at the worst times, any of you here have the same issue?

16 players? are you on realism vs (even though it has way more players) or some (almost) empty mutation?

No, I mostly play campaign. I never got much into mutations and versus.

Anyway, maybe I'm looking into the wrong place.

No probs here, always doing campaigns with friends and others join randomly.

There are a lot going on at any given time. There are mutations scattered about, plenty of regular campaign and versus, and a few addon maps and realism games on.

Scavenge game mode is kinda full of noobs mostly as of late, and then people quit a lot.

Every time I went online there were atleast 6-8 thousand players currently playing.
I wouldn't call it dead.

No problems in Versus. Play during the afternoon, especially around 6-7PM (UTC +1) and you'll see many people, especially on Versus.

Versus is dominated by 2000+ hours angry players just wanting to rage on n00bs.... not my cup of tea
