Help Workshop not working

i download a mod then i go on L4D2 i go on the addons in game i see all the mods i have downloaded but when i go in singleplayer i can't see the models but i can hear sounds

Reinstall Steam, sometimes it does not update, copy the steamapps folder or cut it and put it in a safe place.
Proceed to reinstall or uninstall Steam and when this update put the steamapps folder where it was before.
This problem happened to me with Garrys Mod

how i fix it was, I went in to the program files or how i call it application support and then i went to left4dead2 (inside the left 4 dead 2 folder), and you will see a folder saying addon go in there and then you will find another folder saying workshop, go in that and you mods will be there, and then copy and paste them in the addons folder (which is just outside of the workshop folder) and finally unsubscribe and go on left 4 dead 2 (if you want to get rid of them all you have to do is go in the addons folder and delete them).

If you had searched the forum would have learned that Workshop mods have been working off and on. It is something Valve needs to fix.
I wouldn't recommend manually copying your Workshop mods to your Addons directory. You run the risk on having them in both directories if you don'r unsubscribe properly. Then if the Workshop one updates, you will have two different versions. I stopped using Workshop long ago. Just install all your mods from L4DMAPS.COM and you will never have this problem.
