The problem is the lobby is not working for some of us. No games show up in any of the lists when you select "Quick Match" or "Play On-line". You also can't create your own lobby to host a game. I presume that there is a separate server run by Valve that runs the lobby for players. That’s what’s not working for us.

You can still connect to a game via the console by using the "openserverbrowser" and "connect" commands. You can also join a friend’s game. However, after the game ends you will be sent back to the main menu instead of the game lobby.

Per Steam Support, this solution worked for me:

1. Quit Steam.

2. Go to your Steam folder (default is C:\Program Files\Steam\)

3. DeleteALL files and folders in your Steam folder EXCEPT:

\SteamApps\
\userdata\
Steam.exe

4. Restart your computer

5. Launch Steam.exe from within your Steam folder (do not launch from pre-existing shortcuts)

6. Steam will update.

Steam.exe

4.重新启动您的计算机。
