L4D2 THE PARISH

I CAN PLAY EVERY OTHER GAME IN L4D2 ( EVEN MY ADDONS ) BUT CANNOT ACCESS AND PLAY " THE PARISH "; STEAM TELLS ME THAT IT'S A DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT AND WILL EVEN SEND ME TO STEAM TO DOWNLOAD IT; SO SHOULD I UNINSTALL L4D2 AND RE-INSTALL IT; ( HAVE TRIED FOR MONTHS TO TRY AND GET STEAM TO HELP BUT NO LUCK )

L4D2 doesnt have any dlc... are you sure you're getting the correct error messasge

It's one of your addons interfering; if you have any workshop mods it's likely one of those, otherwise disable/remove them one by one until you can access the map.

Edit: Please don't uninstall and reinstall your game as a first solution.

first try to verify your files.. right click l4d2, Properties, Local Files, Verify integrity....
if that doesnt work then yeah uninstall and reinstall.. Parish is a good enough map and worth the effort.
