lets play videos

i need help, i want to make lets play videos for my youtube channel, i cant get fraps to run. everytime i try the computer freezes. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a different type of software i could try. I am playing on a windows xp3 os and have been using the latest version of fraps and it works with my regular games but i seem to be unable to use it while on steam. any help would be appreciated. thnx!

i use gamebooster it helps ready my pc for games and it can record videos. lol

Windows XP? Damn, might want to consider upgrading. Have you tried OBS?

hey sophia, i am on a tight budget. I got a linux machine but its got a lousy video card. whats obs? ill just googl it, and find out, and ill give gamebooster a try thanx rarewolf!

You can get Windows 8 Enterprise version for a free trail and then never uninstall it. There are currently no real workarounds to having anything stream from Linux. OBS should work though on XP.

Dxtory is pretty good, try it out. I recorded a game yesterday (just for fun) and no lags, runs smoothly.

no lag huh..bear in mind im a budget gamer with an xp machine, but if thats 2 votes for it ill will give it a try thnx
