Usually when I play I see them rage quit when they rush ahead of the group & get incapacitated by a SI & start yelling & screaming thru their mic' or typing in why didn't you keep up with them or catch up to them when they got taken down. Think someone needs to feed them prescription babysitters like ritilan to calm down there rage.
Salute.
btw shud give us a link.
I have to say, if I can't get into into a game after 10 hours or so (also depending on the game), tough luck, it's not for me.
But I don't go spill my brain diarrhea in a "Review" that has no credibility whatsoever because I wasn't able to try the game properly because of whatever reason that made me stop.
There are games I have thrown aside after just an hour and was tempted to call bullcrap (in a few very severe cases - could give examples, don't want to), so I guess I know the feeling. But actually doing it? And thinking I am informed enough to tell others if they should buy it?
No.
If they at least would say something like "Wellt, that's how I feel", but oh no, it's always the Word (note the capital 'W'').
I don't read user reviews at all, on principle, because I need to make up my own mind.
Except when they catch my eye because they are snappy or funny.
But in any case, I have my tastes, and even if there are some very well written and informed reviews out there, mostly they are either hating or fanboying. And even those fanboyish posts often resemble something like: "This is awesome [Thumbs Up]"
Wow, thank you for telling me.
Sorry, my mood turned a bit dark the last hour or so, don't read anything into it.
My opinion still stands, though with enough sleep and better mood it might have been more funny or even less "harsh".
I should really go to sleep.
"We will only patch the crash bugs, everything else is cool the way it is" sort of, that one cracked me up, I don't mind admitting. And the one about "Don't buy it really, go get yourself blahwahtever, seriously" was pretty good, too.
In fact, one of my close friends wishlisted it because of the dev's funny comments, so it seems to work, heh.
In fact, 30 hours is more than I'd be willing to spend on a game I don't like.
There was a lot of discussion that this should be possible when it wasn't (because the system used to only allow positive "recommendations" before). Now if I didn't make use of that, I would feel like "allowing only positive reviews, beginning with myself". So a negative review is perfectly valid IMO (although I can't remember having given any myself yet).
As for posting a text along with it, I don't see why people should not give their reasons; it's actually better because others can judge whether that may not apply to themselves.
There's not "no credibility" about it either, because a review is always subjective and valid (as long as it's not paid for by a competitor). If a person finds a game boring after 5 hours, he's not going to find it less boring after 100 (most probably more so actually).
I love that every negative review had to say "But the community is ♥♥♥♥!!"
To me, I dont see how that is a good review, I mean, there is a option for friends only, or single player. So not like you are forced to only play online with strangers whole time.
