I don't understand why people call the community bad.

I don't get it. I'm not that great at the game. I haven't played it much. I'm lame at communicating with others.

But I've never been kicked off a server by people, or hated on, or trolled (except for the saferoom door, but that's constant and done to everyone). I've only gotten yelled at once for jumping on a car when I shouldn't have, and my teammates told everyone not to.

So why do people think the community is awful?

Most the ♥♥♥♥♥ are in expert, realism, versus. If you play campaign on like advanced or normal, normally the players are alittle more chill.

To most people you either have to have 800 or more hours, know exactly where to go, know everyone who plays the game, and ect.... so the communutiy is bad unless you are a wizard.

People expect you to play to your abilities, and jumping into an Expert game with 5 hours isn't.
Neither is going into Versus at 10 or 20 because at that point you hardly know the maps which is the least decency to not burden your team with.

There indeed is an exaggerated amount of kicking from Versus, but it's not as if it comes from out of the blue. Even in campaign, encountering the same mistakes over and over again in public games becomes surprisingly annoying, which is something you only find out once you've played quite a bit to get to that point.

I've only had a few issues with people being shatbags on campaign, and they were few and far between. Then I played Versus, and found more then a few a-holes who would kick me for not being a part of their master plan as Infected. After a bit of that I mostly avoid Versus, and found my first scavenge round pretty accepting. Of course, I wound up in a few with total pros who kicked me for not knowing how to, 'properly' throw a can. (Still haven't mastered art of throwing cans. Must be a trick to it) but for the most part found the community pretty accepting. There will always be duchebags in online games. The best way to deal with them is to just find a different server or go outside.

Left for dead forum and game is like the ukraine.... russians think they own it, they just invade and yell or votekick anyone that doesnt speak russian or has 4000 hours..... these people dont know the word "game" or "play".. all is serious and life and death for them.... just raging making the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for others who just look for an hour or 2 of recreartion.

I've been playing L4D & L4D2 on Xbox since both games came, out so I don't some troll telling me about elitism. It's about time you said something nice to people's posts, instead of just passing stupid comments.

What was stupid about my comment? Me and my friends kick people just for fun. We don't care about winning since everyone rages 99% of the time.
