Ok, I'm not sure what happend to my add-ons

I lost half my add-ons.
They are still subscribed, but I can't use them.
If I delete and re sub they disappear again, was fine yesterday and now bam, gone.

Anyone else getting this? Because I'm probably not gonna play this that much, it has a new issue every week.

Oh adding, my friend is going through same thing kinda.

Came here to see if anyone else was having this exact same issue and here it is. Half are working half are not. Wondering is Steam is having issues as I also see the game title change at the top of the forums right now it says we are in the "Turbo Dismount" fourms ????

Steam is screwing up. did same thing yesterday, we are still on l4d2 forum..

Idk I just deleted all my add-ons. I'm just going back to Skyrim. I played way too much vanilla left4dead 2, My mods kept it fun for me.

LOL well I guess at least you didnt scan your cache like I did and had to reinstall some scripted ones I had. Guess I will wait and see if they patch. I did notice when I logged in today I got some source engine updates "half life 2, lost cost etc"

It's best to move your addons out of the workshop folder and into the addons folder then no more problems with them being deleted. Just no auto updating of them but you can always check manually.

Thanks for the tip! it was nbd really just replaced my intro and main menu background which I had on an external took about 5 mins to fix

I found like 2 things on l4dmaps that actually seemed worth it.

Because. I liked the mods I had to make levels darker toned, and realistic. I wanted my game to be how I feel a zombie Apocolypse would be.

Had it perfect. then boom. Everything gone.
