Error Code 53?

I just bought L4D2 and faced problems while completing installation. Error code 53 popped up, but I've waited all day and retried several times throughout the day. What do i do?

Something is interfering with steam. Here's the list to check if you have any of those, turn it off temporarily like antivirus.

Well, my dota2 and warframe turned out well with bittorrent and my McAfee Livesafe running...

Have you even disable it til it complete installation then renable it after?

Nope. And it worked well for dota2 and warframe though.

...lol. Wouldn't hurt to try and see if that fix it. I'm trying to help but maybe someone else will chime in.
