My Canadian ping always <100 **SAD FACE**

My ping is always over 100 for this game, i'm always lagging.
Yet it's around 40 with any other valve game I play.

Is there any way to check a servers latency before joining?
Or to somehow automatically join a server closer to home?

I hate this guessing game.

Open the console by pressing ~ and then eneter openserverbrowser. Filter by ping and you're set :)

were in canada do you you live because ik for a fact that smaller cities and vancouver can get really low pings in l4d2. try and find a server hosted in northern usa or anywere in canada. i also live here and sometimes i get like 200+ ping but you can find good servers with low ping by doing what ittybittykitty said

<100 means under 100. So you probably meant your ping is 100<.
