game doesnt get past second load screen
game stops responding after the valve screen what could be wrong? new pc so isnt lack of specs to run it

Same here. Thought I was the only one, I don't know what's wrong. I start the game up, skip the Valve and L4D cinematic intro, and after that it gives me a message like, "Can't connect to port 1" or something. I don't know what's wrong.

i had same issue, does it say missing excutable? or something liek that?

if it does, i just re-installed it and it worked fine.
