Is there an aim down sights mod for this game?

You can aim your gun just fine in l4d. You point and click where the aiming reticule goes. If aiming down a gun sight is the only way you can shoot a virtual gun in ANY game then this game is not for you unfortunately.

ive looked.
but no. its weird, you type iron sights, all you find is a zoom effect mod. lol.
suppose to give you the effect of iron sight..
a gun pulled up, and zooming, are completely different.. XD

but only iron sight view ur getting is a sniper rifle

The purpose of aiming down sights in games like CoD and Payday is because you normally do not have a crosshair, and using ADS will drastically improve your aim. This is completely unnecessary in L4D2 and other Source engine FPS games because you always have a crosshair and you can just crouch/walk to improve your aim.

dont need to aim down the sites its spray and pray besides at times its too crazy to take the time to aim especially if you are playing in vs or playing solo on hard

down the sight for me, helps for long range. i learned how to get headshots with just sub machineguns and assaults. so for me, its for long range shots. since this game is skull f*ck*ng you almost 24/7, you have like 2% long shots

No. There is no aiming down sights. You can get laser sight however, in a few levels. Olnly snipers can get aim down sight, because, they need it.

a majority of the time when i have a sniper rifle i dont use the sight aim... because i know how to aim without it... its not hard to do. I will use it though if my target is REALLY far away, but thats what snipers are for of course.

yes i agree but he is asking for sights. not people telling him you dont need to aim down. dont take this offensive. im not trying to p1ss anyone off here. and no i dont know a mod where you can aim down sights :)

I have to agree that I would love a mod that takes away the crosshairs and adds
ironsights. Would make the immersive feel that much more deep.

Then again, I know that this is basically useless in this game, so meh.

I would still try the mod. If there were any.
