Crouch jump (ctrl jump) removed? Why?

I noticed that I can't use crouch jump (ctrl jump) feature in Left 4 dead 2 any more. Was it removed for some reason? Why?

Perhaps you bound some key for a different command or some addon bound it for you. In that case you can go reset your keyboard and mouse settings.

Or a hotkey bound to another program, like you can assign configuration switches for AMD graphics cards.

I got it, they changed the speed of the character when pressing Ctrl. Now when you press Ctrl your speed immediately changes to slow and you can't jump far like it was before. Why did they do this, anybody knows?

probably to remove bunny hopping or something.

Maybe your timing is out. Control is sneaking. Even in couterstrike you are slow when you press cntrl. The sneaking removes your outline in versus so they can't see you through walls if i'm right. Just make sure you press the buttons together I'm sure nothing is different.

No no, I know how to crouch jump. In TF2 and HL2 it works like before, in L4D2 it's changed from these games.

I see what you mean, but I know that cntrl was sneak since I remember. Maybe your right, I wouldn't know about tf2 as I'm still downloading it.

the standard keybindings are: ctrl for crouching, left-shift for going slow. Maybe these two keys are reversed in your settings?
