DOA?
Had this game allowed users to download custom maps directly like every other multiplayer valve game I feel like this game would have lasted longer than the handful of people who still play.
Can you download custom maps through that? Or get the achievement I mentioned in the topic? the server browser should of been part of the game all along not a console command most people don't know about.
So what's your point?
There are workarounds. The community would of lasted longer had they done it. They could of had you download the campaign peice meal as you play it. The rest of the group would of been able to go without the person downloading as you can now.
I'm sure there are other solutions I don't see but it would of helped the community stay alive had it been an option.
