In case of a nuclear war you had nothing better to do than to play L4D2 ?? Do you still have power for your computer ? ;-)

i think if u directly go to steamapps and click l4d2 it will launch in offline.
btw i dont think we will survive if there is nuke war

You can run Steam in offline mode if you would find yourself without a connection.

If you play singleplayer, Steam will still be online. I think you need to switch to offline first then there is really no difference in-between singleplayer and local hosting.

Nuclear war.. you go on the computer.. I would be in a store, stabbing people for the last can of soup. Then take their bodies as food.. (that is right, I would eat all of you to survive.)

but playing single player wont give me cheats....i want to play "c1m1 street " command for me to activate cheats....but i got disconnected after a while

I'm guessing you know your way around the dev console, but to be sure.
maps * will show a list of all maps.
map <MAPNAME> to load one.
And then you should be able to toggle sv_cheats.

yeah but in offline mod..youre disconnected after a few second..i want to find a way to fix this....
