I started playing lfd2 for along time it work perficly fine then after a few months it keeps crashing in middle of games dose any one know how to fix?

i deleted all my files in the l4d2 section on the steam apps thing then reinstall every thing

ok but your problem might be with one of those files. add-ons are well know causes of crashes. I would unistall all of them, unsubscribe from them and then validate my files by doing this:
Right click L4D2 from your game library. You're going to go to local files from properties, and then select verify game installation

after that see if your game runs. if so and you really think you need a bunch of add-ons get them 1 at a time and see if your game works after each one

i dont have any work shop or add on files

Right click L4D2 from your game library then click properties then local files then click verify game cache wait for it to finish. restart steam and try it

im having the same problem, but theres one work shop item i cant delete cause it was taken down by steam
