I may still be decently good at this game (I hone my combat skills from TF2), but the things poeple do are just... Why?

One time, I join The Sacrifice in progress and I'm randomly picked as Francis. We were in the first level near the safehouse. I was on yellow health close to red.

I kill a CEDA agent, but something (or someone) made a mess of fire on the ground which burns me up to 1HP and I'm foced to wait until it's gone.

Believe it or not, a guy shoots me (I can't tell if it was accidental or not) and knocks me out.

This is the worst. One of the guys on goes on the mic and is like "come on! you can do it! just a little more!" another guy talks on his mic agrees in unison.

Eventually, I bleed to death near the safehouse door and the close it.

Once we reach level 2, I grab the Tactical Shotgun and blast at the guy who shot me down (sorry for hypocrisy)

After incapping him, a vote is called to kick me, and 3/1 called yes.

Another time in Dark Carnival via starting it from a Lobby, Me and 2 others are still at the car. After the cutscene ended, a guy joins and is chosen as Rochelle.

He started shooting at us, and we were forced to retalliate. I can't remember what it was, but he was also saying random things in the chat.Wasn't like a bot or anything.

Shortly, we get a vote to pass on kicked him. And everyone was like "...What the hell?"

I sometimes ask my team to kill me before safe house to start next level with 50 hp. I sometimes shoot b&w teammates to defib them. If they left you behind bleeding out they just decided its too dengerous to carry you.

So why exactly did you teamkill in your first story? They probably saw your hours and decided to not risk going out to get you if they didn't think you'd make it anyways. Also- did this happen on normal?

I'm envious of how games like Halo 3 have a built-in theatre mode to record in-game footage along with being able to share that footage. Being able to see the griefing goes a long way in proper shaming.

I got loads of these kinds of things for TF2 though.

You can take demo recordings and others can play them back on their end.

A random guy joins us on dead air expert finale. Plays good, nothing unusual. As soon as plane doors start to open he incaps everyone and immediately leaves. 3 people down and 1 bot. Everyone survived.

Which is another unfortunate thing. Even with video evidence, Valve does not allow name & shame on the Steam forums. I'd link you to non - Steam L4D communities. I name & shame with evidence on other L4D community websites. But I cannot post them here, as Valve would most likely remove it.

In another case. We had a No Mercy game when this 1 person joined & tried to change what the majority wanted. He became disrespectful & ranted on the in - game voice. Became much better after we vote kicked him out. And made fun of him later.

Back when I played on the Xbox 360 version, I joined a lobby of pubstompers talking garbage on their mics. I know they were pubstompers, as all but one had his friends list private, and the one that didn't had the other 3 teammates on his friends list.

On the first level of Parish, I charged one survivor at the very beginning and sent his entire team into the water. Everyone died in one fell swoop. It was the best thing ever.

Someone on the other team called a vote to restart. Anyone who has played the X360 version will tell you that the voting is buggy at best, giving the survivor's priority vote. If the infected team votes no, and the survivors vote yes, the vote goes through even though the votes are tied. The match restarted. I was so salty. I still am. This was like three years ago. I may never not be salty.

Honed your combat skills on tf2..? What skills? You aim and shoot, if you said counter strike it may of made sense to me, that has some gameplay close to left 4 dead when it comes to shooting.

Moral of your story is, you deserved to be kicked in that first one. They killed you because you had 1 health, you start next game with 50.
I don't believe you heal if you are still alive.

They gave you extra health to start with, so you trolled them for it. Many people do the suicide/kill thing to help the team. Even I have done it with friends.

Well even then I've seen alot of douchebaggery on TF2. If they had said this was some sort of health trick, I would have been okay with it.

I absolutley HATE when I spend my gametime looking after my teammates. Reviving them, giving them my medkits, pain pills etc.

Then I go down and they all ignore me.

I go in chat:

'A revive would be nice?'

All I get is 'lol'.

It's infuriating.

I do know the game basics, I don't know any of these advanced tricks yet.
