Verify integrity if game cache
People are saying to solve the problem with the "black screen bug" (where, for me, 20 minutes into the game goes black screen leaving me with restarting me laptop) you have to "verify game cache" I just want to know what that does exactly. And once I do it, will it delete any of my mods from the workshop that i've downloaded?

It shouldn't delete any mods.
It simply verifies that all of the files required to play the game smoothly, are indeed present, and working properly. (at least, AFAIK..)

ive been having the black screen bug a lot when I play CS:GO, or other source games.
