Game crashes when I tab out to the desktop

It's ok when i'm at the main menu,but once I enter a game and tab out ,there's a 80% chance that the game will just crash without any erro messages.
I've already tried to delete and reinstalled the whole game, but it just didn't work.


Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

From what I've heard, Left 4 Dead 2 is very finicky about being tabbed out of. I don't do it under really any circumstance save for accident. There might not be any way to fix it, it's just a thing with the game.

It's a Valve Game. All Valve Games crash should you try to Alt + Tab.

I see..thank you , i found out using windowed mode seems to be better

I never had a problem with alt tabbing out of l4d2.

Thank you guys... I guess i'll just play with the windowed mode_(:з」∠)_
