The hunter's barrel roll
I'm actually interested in tweaking such a feature but I'd like to know... Have the hunters done the barrel roll in L4D 1? Does anyone know how it came to be in L4D2?

Hunters never did the roll in L4D1 and how it came to be in L4D2 is to help Hunters get away faster

Interesting... I don't even know why turtle rock implemented that in L4D2 and not in L4D1... Still it would be interesting if the hunter bot keeps doing the barrel roll.

Turtle Rock got bought out by Valve before L4D1 was even announced

yeah it's stupid to cause comparing Turtle Rock's version of L4D1 to Valve's L4D1 there's way more darker and fitted the games title of a Survival Horror

Well Hunters in l4d1 we're different. If a hunter was on fire it would do almost x4 its damage but it couldn't roll out of the survivors. The roll was added in l4d2

actually the fire thing is still around but ONLY if the Hunter gets set on fire from a Survivor if you lit yourself on fire you don't get the bonus only the damage debuff
