Resolution settings
Devs, it would be *really* nice to be able to change the resolution for the resolution scaling option.

100% of what, exactly? Also, it seems that 100% is actually 1080p?

Or, at least an option to go beyond the so called "100%". I agree that UE4's TAA does wonders, but the natural blur that comes from the solution, a fast moving game and an apparently locked (and low) resolution aren't really helping IQ here.

I would also like a resolution option. Game looks incredibly blurry on my 4K TV with scaling on 100. The TV is saying it's actually running at 4K, but the game looks like it's on 720p or lower. Without a resolution option I don't know what's going on.

Usually when I'm running a game at 4K, the Steam overlay will be a lot smaller than usual. That's not the case with this game.

Exactly. It's also apparently not running in exclusive fullscreen, which usually hurts performance.

I got a 4k PC monitor and i really want to use my full resolution. If the game supports 4k i will buy it instantly.
If you are used to play games in 4k even 1080p looks kinda blury and washed out. So i really want to get the full 4k expierence of the game!
Is it possible to tweak some .ini files or something like that?

So, there's no resolution toggle? True full screen is also a must for those of us wishing to downsample. Oh well, I was about to purchase it as my very first racing title on Steam, but I suppose I should wait a little longer then. Thanks for the impressions guys!

I can't use freesync because the game isn't running in proper fullscreen.

I would like option for exclusive full screen mode.

You should be able to get exclusive fullscreen by setting the screenmode options mentioned in this guide to "0":

Thanks a lot, Hellcat! I just might buy it now.

Yes, it does. Btw, are you on NeoGAF? There's a member there with a virtually identical user name, though that someone seems to be a fellow Vancouverite, and your profile here says something about Brazil. :-)
SleepSmasher Sep 2, 2016 @ 9:41pm
Haha, bingo. Yep, same person. Redout's poor's man OT is also my humble creation.
And yeah, I'm brazilian but living and working in Vancouver :)

Edit - btw, good call, Steam profile updated.

That's cool! My sister has been a NeoGAF member for a couple of years. I've applied, but they haven't let me in yet. The crazy coincidence is that we lived in Brazil for about 5 years when we were kids. Small world and all that, I suppose. :-)
SleepSmasher Sep 2, 2016 @ 10:30pm
Really? Haha, that's amazing. Well, if you and your sister are gamers and vancouverites, feel free to add me on Steam, always good to make some new friends around :)

Crusader Sep 3, 2016 @ 12:20am
+1 ability to disable motion blur (at 144fps on 144hz it looks better without imho)
+1 ability to disable chromatic aberration (ew)
+1 resolution option in the game settings
+1 actual AA information (e.g. 2x, 4x, ...)

Weird, my game always launches at 2160p (or 1080p if that's the desktop resolution) no matter what the config file says. It completely ignores all of my custom resolutions.

This is what I've got:

[/script/engine.gameusersettings]
bUseVSync=True
ResolutionSizeX=5440
ResolutionSizeY=3060
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=5440
LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=3060
WindowPosX=-1
WindowPosY=-1
bUseDesktopResolutionForFullscreen=False
FullscreenMode=0
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=0
PreferredFullscreenMode=0

Tried resolutions between 1080p and 2160p, and no luck there either. Be it 1440p, 1620p, 1800p, etc. It's either 1080p, or 2160 like I said before. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow. :/
