Hey everyone,

I wanted to make a central bug thread so you guys know what we're working on and what information we need before we can start working on these fixes. I'll be trying to scour the threads for new bugs, but if something's not up here already please post it in this thread so it'll be easy for me to find.

We should have threads up for each supported language soon.

Japanese Bug Thread

This game has a standalone launcher. When you hit "Play", two options should show up: "Play Fate/EXTELLA" and "Launch Configuration Tool". If you choose "Launch Configuration Tool", there are options there that you can toggle.

If you right-click the title in your library, there is a "Launch Configuration Tool" option there as well.

To change language: Right-click the title in your library, go to Properties, then go to Language.

For Chinese users: If it is crashing on name input, please try switching to Traditional Chinese.

In Progress Fixes:

• Crashing for some on start-up - Thank you for all the info, especially .dmp files. I'll update the progress here as soon as anything changes.
  
• Korean version: DLC titles are not correctly displayed.
  
• "With Regalia in Hand" not unlocking properly.
  
• Mislabeled Install skills

Bugs we're investigating in-house:

• No PS3 controller detection - for now, please check Steam controller settings: Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings
  
• Slowdowns with MSI laptops in certain areas - may have to do with MSI Afterburner
  
• Framerate drops in certain areas because of specific visual effects
  
• Progress blocker in final battle

My game instantly crashes as soon as I try to start it. The configuration tool runs OK.

These are my specs:

Core i5 4670K
GTX 1060 6GB
Windows 10 1703 64bit

How about letting us have video options, you know the standard of all games on PC, before talking about bugs and glitches

startup crash again ? the last two jp games I bought also had this issue, and we waited quite a while for this to be fixed.........

I'm sorry you are having trouble with video options. Have you tried changing settings in the configuration tool? When you hit "Play", two options should show up: "Play Fate/EXTELLA" and "Launch Configuration Tool". If you choose "Launch Configuration Tool", there are options there.

game instantly crash when played in full screen but it work fine if windowed

I guess he meant that by making the video options "inside" your game. I'm not one to whine, but if you're asking consumers to pay 40-50 and 30 bucks more for dlc with no in game video options, people would not take it kind.

Processor: AMD A10-7850K
Ram: 16GB
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R7

My i5 3610QM, HD4000/GT 610M, Windows 10 1703 64bit laptop runs it OK, so I'm trying several things on the other computer and I'll let you know if I discover something.

i was able to fix the problem for me! i thought it was a bit dodgy the .exe was just named "game". renamed it to fate extella and it runs now.

ofc i cannot run directly from steam now as it still searches for game.exe, idk if i can fix that myself;;

When I rename it and open it, it just opens Steam and says that the executable file cannot be found, so Steam downloads it again as "game.exe"

"game.exe" was the same name Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus had when launched, so I guess they both were ported by the same team.

Also happens for me, just redownloads another 10.5mb file with a new launcher.

Where can I switch keyboard control to gamepad? I dont find it.
