well only if you want early game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on marines and marines losing first 30 second you nerf the strafe jump that actualy only works with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skulk u noob just play one of the 4 other cclasses man
I hear soon marines will be able to produce bursts of gas from their rectums and commence flight without a jetpack.
its ok i trust unknown worlds and they will balance things out eventually

Sounds legit. Never saw any alien movie, where the marines jump around like bunnies, fending of the alien invasion that way. But now that I think of it... that would be a nice plot. And the word "jump scare" got a new use.

Why not...? Let's bring back the original feeling about being a TSF trooper and stop with that Super MARIO concept !
How about some kind of abilities for the Marines like you can only have 1 ability: ex.
Better strafe jump, 5 - 10 % faster movement speed, a bit extra armor...or just something else that buff your Marine a bit :)
i would watch a movie with strafe jumpiing bunny marines. the movie scene needs a breathe of fresh air. but then again why watch a movie when you can play ns2.

Isn't that a bit too much rpg-ish? We got combat mod already to "personalize" your marine.

Yeah, but in the movies you aren't the aliens, desperatly trying to take a bite. Less frustration that way. ;)

"Oh gawd!" Someone who pretends, concepts for videogames all came out of nowhere. The good old marines vs. alien setup is a common sifi plot since the mid 80's. You know, James Cameron... Aliens...

Maybe NS2 didn't get it's ideas from that movie and others alike. But its prequel sure did. :P

And just so you know... my post was meant ironic. Some people really take comments on the internet way too serious... Shush!

This is where the dificult part comes in... the limit between keeping it from becomming to much RPG a like.
I see your point there, but i only came up with this option because it might could help balancing the game and changing it as time goes on. I didn´t mean that it should go directly down the RPG road :)
