How do i change the <device>D3D9</device> to <device>D3D11</device>? i am having troubles too.

Open it in Notepad and not in the Internet Explorer to Edit the file....

type this after you press Winbutton+R "%APPDATA%\Natural Selection 2"
Then right-click the system options and open with notepad, side scroll and there you will find the values you need to change.

i did this and it worked, till the new patch came out i had to change it back and it works again. lol crazy.

Hey guys,
I'm getting the whole "log.txt and minidump" error aswell. I went into notepad and changed the values, but nothing seems to work. I even un-installed and re-installed. nothing works.

start with copy this %appdata%/Natural Selection 2/ now go into start menu and in search bar you paste this
then right click on system_options.xml and open with notepad++
