Often when there is a mix of rookies and skilled players on a server, most of the rookies hover around the Marines team in the ready room. When skilled players see that they will join aliens because they don't care which side they play. They don't do it to stomp on rookies, they do it because they see so many people want Marines. So Aliens tends to get stacked with better players because all the rookies are afraid to learn Aliens.
As skilled fades go, thats just the game. Not much you can do about that. Just work as a team. I've killed skilled fades, after everyone had a shotty, and we all aimed for him.
Personally I don't see much difference in power between both sides. I'd say that the Aliens are more powerful because an Onos, Fade and Gorge can wreck most bases from what I've seen, but really it comes down to how well either team can react to changing circumstance. Like Natural Selection, the most adaptable tend to have the edge.
Onoslol.
^^Wise words!
Assuming, you're talking about skulks... even with no upgrades skulks can NEVER 2 shot a marine, it's impossible. With no upgrades a skulk can kill with 3 bites or 2 bites + a parasite.
I think you need to play the game more so you actually know what you're talking about before you make comments about balance. The game is pretty well balanced as it is.
It's impossible for an alien to 2 shot you. Even at armor 0 you would have 10 health left after two bites.
