As this is 2014... and the game is set significantly further in the future... can we get some friggen iron sights?

I dunno. What actual purpose would they serve from a gameplay standpoint that isn't already filled by simple crosshairs or rendered entirely pointless due to the speed and unpredictable movement of the targets you're trying to shoot?

There's already no recoil for any of the game's guns, and the cones of fire of the weapons that would most benefit from iron sights are narrow enough as is.

NS2 is a twitch shooter. Iron sights doesnt make any sense in this kind of shooters.

When you use Ironsights, you lose vision. For sniper rifles it makes sense, for anything else it does not. As others have said, NS2 is a twitch shooter not a sneak-em-up or sniper game.

Well ironsights work for games that benefit from them, but games like cs and ns2 are better without ironsights, it provides different gameplay experience and I love both ironsight and non ironsight games.
