Which side is better?

I just played it for the first time. When I was alien, everyone killed me in 1 second and jumped around so fast like in Quake, and I seemed to do no damage. When I was marine, I was sooooo sloooooooow, and the stupid rifle has to reload after 2 seconds which always resulted in my death.

For an new player everthing looks op if an vet is using it no matter what side.
And this wont change lets say the next 50 hrs till you learn the basics for both sides.

When you are alien, you need to ambush the marins, and when you are marine, you don't have to waste ammo.

To be honest, I think it just is who plays a bit better with the most teamwork wins. Does not really matter on sides. x-x

Now I go play with some Aliens, they are more fun even though I suck
