On the first mission I cannot get the pilot to board, so I skipped it and went on to the second but then I cannot get the pilot to transfer. What am I doing wrong.....? Please help!

I to have the same problem with transferring the pilot on the second mission and have no idea what to do

I figured it out. You have to go real slow and you have to put the ship real close to the pilot.

Ok. Tourist tales still. But where do you dock the ship in the first mission when you hit Southampton?

On several missions the pilot boat follows you from behind, but never gets close enough to board properly. I usually come to a complete stop and as needed slowly reverse at 1 to 2 knots and he will come alongside and board eventually. Make sure to pick up the pilot before you enter Southampton and the game will show you where to dock (at the large quay on the right (starboard), just passed a large building on the corner).

What I do is push the pilot boat to me via the dingy / lifeboat or whatever you got. Works all the time.

I know it's a year late but those directions are awful. Do you know how many large building there are in Southamptom? Oh, and trying to find this mysterious quay at night, while keeping our ships from running aground? Unreal.

What happened to that stupid green star the game was using to show objectives and direction?
