increasing mana-costs with Soulreaver Staff equipped
Hi everyone,

I am currently in the first mission of the necropolis campaign and noticed that, when equipped with Soulreaver and saving the game, after each reload the mana costs of dark magic go permanently up. Is there some patch or fix for this problem?

It is a known bug, equipping any dynasty staff that lowers mana is actually bugged and increasing the cost of spells permanently. So far the only solution I think is to not equip one of those dynasty staffs.

Happened to me as well I had to restart the necromancer campaign
Stupid bug that hasn't been fixed for ages and can ruin your game if you intend to play magic.

My Soulreaver Staff works fine here, reducing mana costs of spells...
thanks for your replies. I am in doubt now: I am not sure which version I am running, but shouldn´t uplay download and install the most recent patches automatically?

Is this STILL bugged?

My Necropolis campaign was ruined by this. I believe this bug also affects the expansion which has been sitting shelved.

In addition there was a bug where the re-animate core ability would just stop working. So its now 2014 fixed or not?
I've seen some reports on Soulreaver staff in particular, but I recently finished Necropolis campaign with Anastasia carring this staff, no bugs whitnessed.
