Failed to Launch

So I purchased the Might & Magic: Heroes VI Shades of Darkness yesterday and began downloading the game. The download finished successfully at which time I began the installation. The installation finshed successfully also. I then played the game for a while yesterday before saving my game, exiting the game and truning oof my laptop. This morning when after I turned on my laptop I attemtped to launch the game and am greeted with an error. This error reads...
Might & Magic: Heroes VI Shades of Darkness has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a sloution is available.
It is at this point that nothing happens. The game closes and nothing.
The error occurs every time I try to launch the game.
I'm looking fo a way to fix this problem.

I have solved the solution.

Head into the Heroes of Might and Magic VI folder and into the owner folder.
From there open the pofile data file with a note pad.
The enter...

Save the document and the game will work again.

What you mean with profile data file? ... i read a lot of files with data in theyr name but non named 'profile data file"

i am having error fail to launche and cant find anny solution on this game ... im running dual GTX 680M 24G ram windows 7 running 64 and 86 bits system of windows. so i dont think its on the my pc performance but rather the game problem itself? Can any one help or at least help me get my cash back sinds they sell a product that dont work at all? my main problem is at the game launche not cd key nor connection isseu.

This worked for me.

The file location is C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\Might & Magic Heroes VI\<USERNAME>\ProfileData

i can not seem to get Uplay to launch it, i keep entering the CD key i get when i check my library on steam, is there like another code i missed, i have the email proving i bought the game and my uplay account says i have it as well i just cant seem to launch it from uply only steam and it doesnt seem to work
