Uplay is peeing me off

this has nothing to do with steam, at least i dont think it does. whenever i click on the play button for settlers 7 it takes me to uplay log in, i made an account for it but whenever i try to log in it says theres no account under that email/username so i thought maybe i didnt do it properly, so i try to make another account and it says that username is already being used, someone please help
