No VSync?
I'm really loving the art style so far, but it is kinda mired by constant screen tearing when the screen scrolls. The game sadly has very limited video options in which VSync is not listed. I tried forcing it via Nvidia's control panel for games, but sadly it is not working.

I came on here to find out the exact same thing.

Played both of the supplementals on OSX & I don't recall any tearing issues but I'm playing the PC version now & it's distracting as heck

heyo, i think we may have completely forgot to force this on, since it defaults to on in OS X at the OS level. we'll scope it out for the next patch, sorry for the inconvenience!

Is there any update on this issue?

would love to play this game but the screen tearing is just excessive and theres no vsync option wtf

You may be able to force VSync in your graphics card options.
With nvidea cards it's the “NVIDIA Control Panel” that you can use to override settings of any 3D-application.

That's exactly what I tried right after I realized the game has no Vsync option. Unfortunately it didn't work. Neither did it after the update. Changelogs would be helpful to clue users in whether an update should have fixed this issue. But I can't find any.

You would have been fully entitled to a:
“Go read the opening post you bleeding idiot.“
Apparently my attention span is shorter than skimming 7 posts. Sorry.^^

To maybe say something useful: Under windows the settings of a unity game are stored in the registry. For Night in The Woods I find it under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Infinite Fall/Night in The Woods.
There are, for instance, some keys concerning resolution and fullscreen there. If you find those settings on your system you can add a setting for vsync, which may or may not be respected, I can't tell, I couldn't see any screen tearing either way.
For no reason that I understand the name of the key is [name]_h[hash] where [hash] is the hash value of name for some hash function that may or may not change in between systems, but in my case, it seems to carry over between my clustertruck installation and my night in the woods installation, the name being:
"vSync_h190245460" which I made a DWORD set to 1.

Thanks for your suggestion. I tried it, but sadly it did not work. Guess I will have to wait for it to be patched in.

I have the same problem on Windows 7 x64, and I've tried all V-sync options in the Nvidia settings. But I'm sure the patch will come soon.

Well, it's been a month. Hope the v-sync issue on Windows gets patched soon.

There was an announcement on Twitter about an upcoming patch some days ago.
