Help with multiplayer

Me and my friend can not play multiplayer. It say that we have 999 as are pingis there any thing to fix this?

There is, but it's a bit much. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\silent hunter 5\data\Cfg, then open main.cfg (this is the directory structure I use; yours may be different)

Scroll down to [Multiplayer]. Chage GamePort=19000, to 19001, or 19002. Have your friend do the same. Then let me know if it worked for you. It worked for me and my friends. Good luck.

We changed it to 19002 and 19001 but it did not work.

Try gtting tunngle that is what me and my friend did and it works. If you get just make your game on LAN

Just recently purchased and have so far only found one problem, when opting for multiplayer and arranged with friend, it shows friend but no option to join and latency is 999 ?? any ideas? has the server shut down or something, tried LAN aswell and couldnt find my friend and my friend couldnt find me either, also couldnt join me in multiplayer via ubi.com also with latency of 999 so any ideas? or knowledge will be appreciated.

Me and my friend got tunngle. It shares you IP and it lets you play on LAN but you have to have tunngle and be in the same room/channel. For example if me and bob/friend where in the channel silent hunter we share IP that why you do it on LAN. Who ever is hosting go to multiplayer and starts their game on LAN.
