In Dead Space 2 they had a recap video in the game so you know what happened in the first game. I don't know if they are doing it on DS3, but I do know there is a DS3 trailer that is a recap of the first two games so check that out on youtube or something.
DS3=Lots of action a few scares. Plenty of Ammo.
DS2=Middle of the road some scares plenty of action. Plenty of Ammo.
DS1=Scares and tension through out the game. Count your bullets.
! Warning ! Dead Space 2 on steam gives DLC suits and weapons that will make the game easier and less scary. Dead Space 2 on Cd and other game selling places have a bug that keeps you from getting reward items for beating the game on some difficulties. the steam version has the patch for that, which is why it has the problem i already listed.
But any ways I had fun playing DS 1 and 2 and I reccomend you play them if you like horror survival games. Sorry if this is a lot to take in. :)
