Is multiplayer working or is it just that no one plays this game?
Everytime I go to the lobby it is empty. :(

Probably empty. Sadly this game went largely ignored on steam.

I think I will request a refund, the main reason I bought this game was for the multiplayer.

The game isn't multiplayer focused. You wont' get a refund for that.

Some people just got the game on sale this week, so we might get some opponents to play online.

Doesn't seem like it. The multiplayer is as dead as it ever was unfortunately. A real shame as I'd imagine it would be great fun to play against another human.
