Hi there!

I'm François Alliot aka Nerial, gamedev and writer of Reigns.

First I wanted to say thank you for the super positive messages and evalutations I received from everywhere, here, twitter, the stores. I'm glad the vast majority of you experience Reigns as we wanted. A bit surprise also that so many people actually dig my ravings.

But I see that the game also has some technical issues for some of you, and I'm sorry about that. I will try my best to solve all this. It's a tad complicated, I have to support 5 platforms at the same time, but nothing is unfeasible, so I will just have to organize a bit.

I won't probably be able to be part of every discussion here, but I will keep an eye on them and fix what I can.

My first job will be to replug the achievements because it affects everyone. Then I will investigate the crash on start and data corruption. Note that I won't probably be able to solve everything.

I'm not sure I will be able to treat everything right away, and some things I probably won't be able to solve. If you have recurring problems, please feel free to ask for a refund. I prefer that to taking your money and the game doesn't work.

I will take my time to solve everything properly. It's been a *very* crazy week for me so far, I need some sleep.

Thank you! I'll go ahead and ask for a refund then, just in case. But I'll gladly buy the game in the future, again, because I really loved the sound of it and was looking forward to it immensely. xD

On Linux (x86_64) the game spawns 47 threads, which seem to deadlock eachother.
I hope this points you in the right direction.

achievements are not popping up for me e.g reach year 2000 and lose in 3 turns

I'm on windows 10. When shut down it just shuts down the overlay but keeps the game running and I can't shut it down wihtout ctrl alt del'ing steam.

It opens on the wrong monitor for me. It's openning on monitor 1 which is NOT my primary monitor nor the same resolution as my primary monitor. When I force it to switch monitors it is the wrong resolution and the mouse pointer no longer lines up with where it is actually clicking.

On Debian GNU/Linux testing it freezes after 10-15 seconds of gameplay.

Personnellement, je n'arrive pas à trouver mes DLC sur la version Mac. Sont-ils a débloquer ingame ? Ou quelquonque autre subtilité à laquelle je n'aurai pas fait attention ?
Quoi qu'il en soit, le jeu est bien fun et c'est le plus important après tout.

To reset the game, press and hold R for 5 seconds.
