Do i have to PAY more to be even able to start the game?

How can i control this? Any keys? mouse? whatever? Seems space and enter do "something" but i am not able to even get after creating the license.

Coast 2 Coast doesn't support mouse input. A steering wheel or gamepad are your best bet, but it does support keyboard input. Default keyboard keys are cursor keys for acceleration, braking, and steering. W is for gear up and D is for gear down. These can be remapped in the controls menu. Cursor keys, enter, and escape are the default keys for menu navigation.
