Same here, game doesn't recognize controller. It's this game and Dead Rising 2. I think it was an update that did it.

Yeah, not sure if the steamworks patch did it or not but the only controller that I found registers on both games is an official Xbox 360 wired controller.

My Xbone controller works with this game. The game is really buggy compared to DR2 for some reason but the controller does work with it, at least for me.

Yeah tried it too, but like I said the steam overlay on it mess with the controls for some reason, So to Disable the Steam Overlay on specific games only by right-clicking on the game title, click on "Properties" and uncheck it.

So dead rising 2 works with me ONLY when i have a 360 pad plugged in but not any way else. Just to let you know I had the same issue with telltale's minecraft story mode so I emailed them only to get a reply back that says they do not support the xbox one controller. I hope capcom patches in the support since not all 360 pad games will work with the xbox one.
