I finished the room 3 times and the achievement is still locked.

Hi! Based on near universal feedback and apparent saving bug, I have removed the new achievements for now.

I am aware that the achievement is not properly awarding. The problem is not with the game but with it's connection to SteamWorks. I am trying to track down the issue, and sorry for the problem!

As someone who is legally blind/visually impared call it what you will, this game could be interesting. I would be interested to hear if the Dev has produced this from their own experiences, that of others or just based on the assumptions of what being blind means. May just give it a go either way....
