Window Wipers

Hello there, I'm really enjoying DiRT 3 at the moment, but one thing that's bugging me a lot is the fact that during any event, my window wipers will come one randomly. I'm using a wheel and defiantly not pushing any buttons. And the fact is that it'll do it when there' no water on the course, not raining or snowing at all.
Am I doing something wrong or something?
