DO NOT USE /wipeme skills

The command is /wipeme respec. We will push a patch a bit later tonight to fix this, but please be sure to use respec or just wait until after the patch so you don't accidentally reset yourself to level 1.

REPEAT: /wipeme skills will do the same thing as dieing on the hardcore server. The command will be changed to something more appropriate so if you are just not sure please wait till after the 16.4.11.1 patch.

Currently you can use it as often as you want.

Heads up to Devs. I mouse over melee and it says adds medical scanner and not melee damage multiplier. Not sure if its working, but definitly does not say adds melee damage. Also Teri thanks.

No, it is there for a while if not permanently. We may move it to a functional thing (such as an item or a time limit) at some point, but there are no immediate plans to do so.

hey J.C. i had an idea last night for the /Wipeme command instead of making it so theres a cool down why not make it the same as the XP and skill system, if you want to respecmake it cost 1 skill point if you use it once and if you use it twice it cost 3 skill points and so on and after you used it 3 times then there could be a cooldown period and after that cooldown it costs 1 skillpoint again, this would keep people from abusing it and personally i dont think respecing shouldnt be in a survivasl game but i understand your trying to cater to everyone. thanks fo r being awesome

We'll move the system over to being an actual item or system at some point, or a time limited thing, But since the skill points changed in this patch it was important to have a way to be able to respec now. It is abusable though as is as someone could potentially train and untrain.

yea thats what i was thinking or maybe it could work like every time you level up 3 times you get a respec token or something you know :D something is better then nothing lol.
