skill points

I've got all my skill catagories maxed but ran into something interesting.
Before I maxed them all I could click on a skill that was maxed and I would get the message
"you need 79 points" I didn't bother as I wanted to get them all to 15.
Now that I have them all at 15, I have 87 points saved but now when I click on a skill the points remain at 87 and I get no message at all.
Did I miss out on increasing some skills by getting them all to 15 before trying to go above the max level?

In Fragmented, there are Experience points, and Skill points. I can't remember which is which, BUT you have to gain in (lets call it) Experience points by doing practically anything. As you rise in experience, you go through successive Experience levels. There are caps on how many Skill ponts a lower Experience level player can spend. There are Experienc Milestones - Level 50 is one for instance, and 65 is another. As you reach these milestones, new items become available to craft and build. Those points you have accumulated can be spent then. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link Tommy but I didn't see much information there about my query.
I'm level 75 so I can't gain xp anymore but can still accrue skill points by uising the hieroglyphs
dropped by the drossera and phosphori in the desert.
It seems odd I could apparently go over the 15 skill limit in some of the skills from the message that I needed 79 skill points to advance, yet when all my skills were maxed and I have 87 points saved I no longer have that option or any message when i try.
Has anyone with 15 in melee, ranged, refining, substience or survival tried increasing that skill over 15?
Construction, textiles and I think electronics always gave the message "you have maxed that skill"
I'm just wondering if I could have had another, for example, 3% added to ranged even though I had already reached 15 if I had tried before maxing all my skills.
