Permanent family trees

I would really like for the family trees to be more permanent. When your creatures die, their connection on the tree just sort of goes away. I would like all the dead creatures to remain on the tree so you can remember the lineage of your creatures better.

I'd like the option to "Star" or mark certain creatures for the family lineage.

Yes, please please PLEASE! And to allow us to choose a 'line' where our game continues start from. Because I am really tired of having my new games start with Derp snouts out of no where. :x
