Purely though, this is a subjective preference. Some said russian voices are better for immersion. Be my guest.
Tip: Don't play Far Cry 3. :)
I must agree. And I was quite suprised how bad russian vo is when I first tried to play with it.
If you want to hear a really really bad VO, switch to German VO. Anna especially is so bad that she sounds like a 40-year old matron. Really, it's hardly bearable. ;-)
I honestly dont mind the Russian VO's. After playing stalker and other games with the same voice actors. I sorta like hearing them in random games or movies. Its like finding an old friend in another story somewhere in the world.
So in my opinion using a language you understand is more immersive. If you can understand both Enlgish and Russian, then i would definitely say Russian though.
