Is this game worth $5? Has the game been "fixed" as there are numerous reviews about a very buggy release?

Poodlestrike tiene Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition

Definitely worth $5. The huge majority of the bugs have been ironed out, and if you're willing to learn the fleet system, it's a very fun game.
