FTL Broadband working?
Hi Folks,

I just wanted to ask: Does anybody know, whether FTL Broadband is working now correctly and allows you observe your allies' battle in multiplayer? I'd really like to play with friends, but sitting in front of a dull waiting-screen while they have their epic battles is rather...not fun.

Thanks for answers!

The sub space beams work for me though I have not tried ftl broadband. I rarely bother with allies. Sorry.

It currently does not. Mecron expressed a bit of shock that players actually cared about that tech as he was under the impression that in SotS 1, the tech was rarely used.

He then went on to say that since players DO actually care about it he'll put it higher up on the to-do list.

Thank you for your answer!

Then they get this done hopefully a a reasonable time. Funny enough, that is at the moment the only reason to not play this game, since the rounds after rounds I played with my brother so far were quite fun - until he wanted to show off his new locust-hive-that-erased-his-dearest-colony-killing fleet. And I saw just a "please wait" screen ;-)

Wait, what? That was one of the most sought-after techs in all the SotS Prime games with my friends, as waiting for allies to finish their battles is quite boring. Who told Mecron that nobody wanted it? o.O

I can understand where's he's coming from. I know I never used it cause if you had more than one human in the fight you had the time acceleration ability disabled.
