Sots 2 Enhaned Edition or Sots 2?

Hey folks! Just wondering if there's any difference between the normal sots 2 and the enhanced edition and if it's worth getting at all.

You can't buy the normal version anymore. It was updated to Enhanced and now thats the base game.

Ahh i see, but what was added then in the enhanced edition? everything is listed in the store page then?

Yes. Look under "Key Features" for what was added with the Enhanced Edition on the store page.

To me the main additions are the Loa - an entirely new race, Flagship command and heavy missile ship sections, 2 new types of Leviathan-size ships, and a fair amount of new weapon systems.

Enhanced Edition was free for everyone who already had it and now its the base game so even those who have yet to purchase won't need to buy DLC to get the full game.

Hmm any chance this will go on sale for 75% off? I think it has in the past but I'm wondering it is worth waiting.

It is no mystery that when this game came out it was riddled with bugs..and it has gone through heavy/frequent patching. I'm curious to know how it currently compares.. Is the game more corrected & playable now?

The game is fine now. Just don't expect to play on a netbook.

Like Civ V it needs a reasonable processor and graphic card.

This isn't true, I play it on two laptop/notebooks, and SoTS2 plays just fine on them both.

He said netbook, not notebook. A netbook is basically a much smaller underpowered notebook, usually lacking any decent 3D acceleration.
