WOULD I GET BANNED FOR USING CUSTOM CAMOS?

I would like to use custom camos, but i'm not sure if VAC would ban me for doing that.

Modding the game at all would get you banned, including camos.

Yes you will get banned. & I shall try to explain why.

Valve basically has a copy of what each game directory should look like, file names & sizes, etc.. If VAC sees that a file has been changed, or is a different size to the ones it has as a reference, it will ban you for having a modified file. Having a file the same size will not bypass this, as VAC will also see the file has a different overall digital signature to the one that should be there.
