Hope you know it's against the forum rules to share anyone's name.

Just saying, man because there's a lot of active moderators and if they see it, you might get a forum ban.

I can not believe this!. Hacking is CRIMINAL because the hacker destroys the gaming experience of legit players who PAID for their game and expect to have a fair gaming experience in the community. And the cheating/hacking is forbidden. But if you turn in a known hacker name, then YOU are the one to be punished. Is it in any sense fair? No, it is not. Instead the Steam should go and TERMINATE these hackers' accounts so that the gaming world would be free of these players who destroy most other players' gaming experience. It seems to me that there is no real will in the Gaming INDUSTRY to get rid of cheating in games. It does not give payback for the companies to terminate cheaters' accounts. Terminating cheater accounts would be the ultimate solution to get rid of cheaters. The only way actually, because they can play with their cheat engines despite of an active VAC ban. I have seen so many players playing freely while being VAC banned from that same game. And the game in question is MW3 multiplayer.

I know it's unfair, but Steam is like a private property or something, you know. While cheaters should get banned I don't agree with terminating their accounts, for example, I used a level hack on MW2 and got VAC banned on it and I know I did something horrible but that doesn't mean Steam should close my account, I have other games too and Steam terminating my account would be like stealing, that's why this cannot happen. But I do understand your frustration, I get to deal with kids cheating too.

VAC bans are disabled for MW2 but not for MW3., terminating their accounts while they might have a lot of games is not the right thing and already mentioned why. How would you feel if you had for example: over 1.000 games, you got VAC banned in 1 and then Steam just suspended the account? Wouldn't you feel like Steam just took your money? I can agree with this only in the case of a cheater having owned a single game only.

Friend with respect I say that the rules are to be left aside and give to know a these bad players since no one likes to play with cheaters Enough that you can not give to know what we are many and we are tired of so much trick :moab:

I'm just saying because the moment you spread their names/profile links you put yourselves in trouble but okay, do as you wish, keep in mind moderators won't be nice when they see those though. This forum has some rules, we all should respect them. One reason this is not allowed is because someone could just lie.

By the way, a serious question. You do have a valid point, we should post their links, names and stuff but how does that help though? How will it help get them banned? Last time I checked, reports won't result in a VAC ban because reports are mainly used for statistic purposes only.

Yes, but this would be punishment hard enough to stop cheating almost completely. One warning, If cheating continues then suspension of account for 1 month, If not effective then termination of Steam account. That would be really effective in fighting against cheating !

If a Steam moderator reads this message chain and decides to erase this from the forum; Then I would appreciate hearing moderators point of view on cheating/hacking in Steam games - and how the Steam community should fight against these criminals (my first message explainst the use of this term). So please advice ?

Just wondering cause I hear that a lot recently. Since when is VAC disabled in MW2?
You have any source for that? That would be nice...I am just curious.

Steam Shop still says "VAC integrated"

Well, look it up on Reddit or something but it's true, I'm VAC banned on it and played normally.

Because you can still get VAC bans, however even with VAC bans you can play online. You mostly get matched with other VAC banned people though.

Now I did not point out a hacker. I pointed out a cheater (she is a he in my opinion) and also a SUSPECTED hacker, which you should yourself confirm by joining his game yourself. It remains for you to decide which one is true. :steamhappy:
