Activation key on Steam

I bought the game with the key in the store is only activated in the game. Question: How can this code be activated via Steam???

At the top of your steam before you go in game I'm guessing, try the menus.
Hopefully you got it through steam first. Just add it to your library, there shouldn't be a key if you got it through steam for this game.
If you got this through other websites like gamefly, gamefly doesn't allow this game to work with a key code, it only allows fall of cybertron, not war for cybertron, to work.
I suggest going through steam to buy this game.

If you did go through steam, show more details on what it asks, and a pic in photobucket.

It has been a while since I first got this game, I can't remember.

If anyone else can help out with this issue, that would be greatly appreciative, as this thread can help others that can't get it to work as well in a similar issue.

... I don't think this will work on steam but try going to Steam (Up left corner) Add a steam product , next then enter the game's key but i REALLY doubt that will work since you bought it on another place .

The same thing as I mentioned, just shorter. =P

Also as you the thread owner.. mentioned in the game that you have to add the key code, try this in game, hold shift and press tab, to bring up the steam menu for activation I'm guessing, but outside of that, I would try the things mentioned in here, although it is best to buy the game through steam to avoid these complications, and for many other reasons.

I have no idea if he/she got it to work. They might have and just not wanted to come back to the forum.. or they haven't come back on steam in a while, I'm guessing they are kids with limits to their steam time, hopefully they will be back to read this info and try to see if it works.
